Assistant Project Manager
The person everyone counts on to get it done.
Do you get genuine satisfaction from checking every box, following through on commitments, and making sure nothing falls through the cracks?
Are you someone who thrives on keeping multiple projects moving while maintaining an exceptional level of accuracy? Can you shift priorities when needed without losing momentum or missing important details?
If so, we’d like to meet you.
We’re looking for an Assistant Project Manager who enjoys bringing order to complex construction projects. This is a highly collaborative role where you’ll work alongside Project Managers, contractors, architects, consultants, vendors, and internal teams to ensure projects move smoothly from planning through completion.
This role is perfect for someone who is organized, dependable, and takes pride in seeing projects through to the finish line.
What You’ll Be Doing
You’ll become the hub that keeps our construction projects moving by:
- Coordinating project documentation, contracts, bids, and procurement activities
- Tracking schedules, milestones, budgets, and action items
- Following up with contractors, consultants, and vendors to ensure commitments are met
- Maintaining accurate project records in Procore
- Supporting permit coordination, inspections, change orders, and project closeout
- Preparing meeting agendas, minutes, reports, and executive summaries
- Helping Project Managers stay ahead of deadlines and potential roadblocks
- Ensuring every detail is completed accurately and on time

You don’t let things linger. You follow up, close the loop, and make sure every commitment is completed.
Exceptional Attention to Detail
You notice what others miss. Accuracy matters to you because you know small mistakes become big problems.
A Strong Sense of Urgency
You understand deadlines. You know when priorities change and can pivot quickly without sacrificing quality.
Process Discipline
You appreciate established processes and understand that consistency produces successful projects. You follow procedures while continuously looking for ways to improve execution.
Strong Relationship Skills
You’ll communicate with many different personalities—from contractors and architects to vendors and internal leadership. You build positive working relationships while keeping projects moving forward.
Organization Under Pressure
Managing multiple projects, competing priorities, and changing schedules energizes you rather than overwhelms you.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field preferred
- 3+ years of construction project coordination or assistant project management experience
- Working knowledge of construction processes and documentation
- Experience with Procore and Microsoft Office
- Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills
- General bookkeeping or accounting knowledge is a plus
Why You’ll Enjoy This Role

You’ll work with an experienced team, collaborate with a wide variety of professionals, and become the person everyone relies on to keep projects organized, accurate, and moving forward.
If you’re someone who loves bringing order to complexity, takes pride in finishing what you start, and enjoys working with people while keeping projects on track—we’d love to hear from you.
