Westrum Development Company, Westrum Property Management, and Blue Harbor Remain Proactive in Addressing the Coronavirus Outbreak

March 21, 2020 – Westrum Development Company, and Westrum Property Management, remain OPEN and proactive in addressing the Coronavirus Outbreak. Measures are being taken at every WDC owned and operated Community to promote the continued health and welfare of our employees, staff, residents, and potential future residents. Westrum’s operations are continuing as corporate employees have been instructed to work remote. Leasing staff teams are offering virtual site tours to interested parties and adjusted work shifts to limit potential exposures. Enhanced cleaning protocols are being performed at all locations, planned social events are canceled for the foreseeable future, all community gyms and yoga studios have been closed and residents are asked to not gather in groups of 10 or more in any common areas of our buildings. We will continue to monitor and reevaluate our practices as developments dictate.

We continue to encourage all employees, residents, and potential residents to follow the health and safety mandates of local and state officials as well as CDC guidelines for keeping yourself and those around you at a reduced risk of infection. Reliable updates/info on the virus should be obtained from reliable sources:

Westrum Cuts the Ribbon on the Summit at Glen Mills

Feb 12, 2020 – A grand Opening Celebration and ribbon cutting was held at the Summit at Glen Mills earlier this month. John Westrum, Chairman and CEO of Westrum Development Company, shared his vision for the community and thanked those who helped bring it to fruition. Municipal officials from Chester Heights Boro along with the operators, builders, developers and designers of the community were also on hand to officially introduce the Summit to the community at large. Current residents of the Summit were (of course) the guests of honor.

The Summit at Glen Mills is an exceptional Senior Living Community described as a cruise ship without the water. “Mainstreet” includes something for everyone: a 50’s Diner, Pub, Theatre, Game Room, General Store, Roof Top Deck, Fitness and Wellness centers, Music Conservatory, full service Salon, Library and Art Studio. With three lifestyle levels available under one roof, The Summit at Glen Mills set the bar high in senior living value and convenience. For more information visit thesummitatglenmills.com.
